STRESS CALL FROM NAPATA COLLEGE ,KHARTOUM SUDAN

THREE OF OUR ACADEMIC PREMISES ARE BEING ROBBED NOW BY RAPID SUPPORT FORCES.

We call urgently Sudanese Army ,Sudanese Goverment , UNESCO ,WFME , IFDEA ,WHO , AU,COMSTEC , AAU,OIC ,UN and all concerned parties to intervene to protect higher education institution in Khartoum.

Our robbed premises including 5 medical faculties,are fully under the control of RAPID SUPPORT FORCES commanded by deputy of state Major General M.HAMDAN DAGALO.

Empty streets all around our premises are under continuous surveillance of DAGALO’s mounted and stationary military vehicles 24/7 . Our gates have been forced open (April 25th – 26th), offices broken into, tills smashed, three hundred of thousand US Dollars has been robbed. These are students’ tuition fees revenues allotted for academic staff salaries this coming month.

Please use whatever influence you have to save what is left of our educational resources. Local police department in our vicinity are immobilized and our unarmed university guards are so intimidated that they had to take over in the basement.
