Training Workshop at Napata College

Amidst a festive and joyful atmosphere, the second and third rounds of the Medical Education Workshop Series held in Napata College were concluded 2 days ago. The sessions were held from the 4th to the 18th of February 2021, entailing the below topics:

💠 Principal Skills of Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication .

💠 Fundamentals of Public Speaking and Presentation Skills.

💠 Conflict Management Skills and Negotiation Tactics.

 

The session was presented by Dr Mohamed Hamza Zeinalabdin, Medical Education expert, Associate Professor of Physiology, Department of Physiology in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, Khartoum, Sudan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at National University, Sudan, and Coordinator for International and External Relations at the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, Khartoum, Sudan.

 

Mr Alzibeir Bashir Taha addressed the workshop participants and congratulated them on the successful completion of the workshop. He also highlighted the importance of trainings as one of the factors of improving the performance of the colleges students and staff. He also shared valuable educational advice to enhance the education process.

The participants were grateful for the valuable knowledge and highly professional training received during the sessions, which will have major impact in the improvement of performance and the education process. Dr. Mohamed Bakri ,Head of Psychiatry, suggested to a group of participants the idea of forming a Medical Education Forum, and accordingly it was agreed by all to arrange for the forum with the intention to announce its date during the coming month.
